Lifestyle: Blue Ridge weekend in the Lexus UX250h
With the outside getting colder, what could be a better way to take advantage of the weather change than a road trip to a cozy mountain Airbnb. Over a recent weekend, Cameron and I drove to Blue Ridge listening to Christmas music. Driving the Lexus UX250h to northern Georgia was both fuel efficient and smooth. The exterior of the Lexus UX250h I drove was bright red “Redline” and the interior was a sleek “Black NuLuxe.”
It’s obvious Lexus cars are my favorite, and with all their amazing features, it's very easy to see why. Some of my favorite features with the Lexus UX250h are:
Seat-In-Control: One of the reasons that makes a road trip easy is the comfort of the car. Luckily the Lexus UX250h specializes in comfort. This car offers adjustable lumbar support for the driver, as well as, manual forward/backward adjustment for the headrests. Many cars don’t offer this feature so this was a huge plus and made my drive very pleasant.
Technology: Though this was a mini vacation, I still needed to check my email, and handle some things for work. When you are in a regular car, getting access to the internet can be a challenge. The Lexus UX250h includes a 4GB Wi-Fi Hotspot, which made worrying about the lack of internet not a problem.
Active Cornering Assist: When driving there is no such thing as being too safe, especially on windy mountain roads. If needed, this feature applies brake control, prevents understeering, and helps with precision when it comes to driving through corners.
Headlights: This time of year, it feels like we find ourselves often driving in the dark. With the bi-LED headlights, driving in the dark was no problem. The headlights are very bright and makes it easier to see everything around me.
Though our drive was under 2 hours, the Lexus UX250h made the ride safe, fun, and enjoyable. Honestly, I wouldn't have expected anything less from Lexus.
